Alaska weather by month
Four stations for a state that would swallow most of the map — the Arctic north and the Aleutians sit far outside what these rows can honestly say.

A single row can hide a real spread — open a month to see it region by region.
Southcentral
- Anchorage Anchorage runs on light more than temperature — a long dark winter, an extra mud season locals call breakup, and a summer that hardly bothers with night.
Southeast & the Inside Passage
- Juneau A rainforest capital with no road out — the weather comes off the water, the mountains hold it there, and the clear days feel earned.
The Interior
- Fairbanks The Interior does not do moderation — a deep, dry, brilliantly cold winter and a short summer that never quite gets dark.
- Denali National Park A park that runs on a short, bright summer — most of the year the road is closed, the buildings are shuttered, and the weather has the place to itself.
