Weather by month
Zion National Park
Utah
A desert canyon that runs hot enough to hurt in summer and stays walkable when most of the country has given up.
The best time to come
April and October are the two months the canyon gets exactly right — warm enough to hike all day, cool enough to want to. November trades a little warmth for a lot of solitude, and winter is the real secret if you don't mind icy mornings.
