What June feels like
The driest month of the year, and the canyon bakes; rangers will tell you to be off the exposed trails by mid-morning and to carry more water than feels reasonable. Kolob Canyons and the East Rim sit high enough to be genuinely kinder when the canyon floor is too much.
Real rain shows up maybe one day all month; the rest stay dry. Most afternoons push past 90°.
